Welcome to Dominion Hills !

Dominion Hills is a vibrant neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia that includes over 600 single-family homes.  The neighborhood features our community-owned Dominion Hills Park, easy access to bike and walking trails and a convenient neighborhood shopping center that provides many needed services and amenities to Dominion Hills residents.

Our neighborhood borders Wilson Boulevard on the south, McKinley Road and N. Ohio Street on the west, and N. Arlington Mill Drive and the Four Mile Run Bike Trail and stream on the east and north.

Families of all ages enjoy the recreational amenities offered at Dominion Hills Park and at the many close-by parks and gardens throughout the Arlington County Parks system and at Upton Hill Regional Park.  Many families also enjoy membership in the adjacent Dominion Hills Area Recreation Association, which features outstanding swimming facilities and a historic Community House where we hold our Annual Meeting and other special events.

The land for Dominion Hills Park at 1060 N. Liberty Street was donated to the civic association by Merwyn A. Mace, a merchant-builder who developed a significant portion of the original colonial revival sections of Dominion Hills.  The park is open to the public and features a heavily used playground that was renovated in 2001 and 2010 with substantial Arlington County funding made possible through Neighborhood Conservation grants.  The park is home to many fun neighborhood events, including the annual Arlington Neighborhood Day Festival and BBQ/Potluck in May (Saturday, May 17 this year);  Independence Day Bike Parade on the 4th of July; Haloween Parade and Fun Fest in October; and the Spring Egg Hunt on the Saturday before Easter.

We hope you find this website helpful and join in making our neighborhood great!  You can learn about upcoming events by joining our Dominion Hills News listserve and our Facebook group.  Click on the following link to send a listserve request to our moderator:  Dominion Hills Listserve
