| At the January 18th community meeting, Sign 1 was approved. This was a required formality as directed by County officials to re-approve the final neighborhood sign design. As you may know, now that Dominion Hills has completed our Neighborhood Conservation plan, we are eligible to receive funding for four signs to be installed at gateway entrances to our neighborhood. A similar vote was held last year during which neighbors selected - from among many choices - a design concept to be the basis for the final design. While developing that specific final design, a number of modest artistic improvements occurred. As a result, County officials feel the proposed design differs enough from what was originally selected that they have requested we either approve the modified new version (Sign 1) or re-affirm the original design (Sign 2) with no changes. This vote is final and soon after the County will manufacture and install our long-awaited signs. At our meeting, we also approved proposed locations for the four signs, also below.
